Have you tried The Milford Track?

Milford Track, Fiordland National Park, 53.5km one way | Intermediate Level
Over the course of four days the Milford Track takes you 53.5km right through the heart of Fiordland. The track itself is well developed due to its ‘Great Walk’ status. However, day three of your walk can be very challenging as it involves a long steep climb up and over Mackinnon Pass. This brings you into an alpine environment, so there’s a few things you need to know to stay safe on your journey.
Watch this video as it explores the alpine section to help you prepare for the harsher conditions, particularly in exposed areas.
